Distribution

Located within a day’s drive of 60 million people

North Florida Mega Industrial Park enjoys a solid transportation backbone that connects our region to the nation and world. That backbone allows same-day service to consumer markets totaling more than 60 million people, making the park a highly efficient choice for distribution centers. (Florida is now the nation’s third-most-populous state.)

The park has 3 miles of frontage on U.S. Highway 90, putting both Interstates 10 and 75 within a 15-minute drive, and providing fast routing to anywhere. A CSX mainline runs just north of the park, with an easement for a rail spur into the park. A nearby Norfolk Southern line presents the potential for dual-carrier service. Both rail and highway provide fast, efficient service to the nearby JAXPORT ocean facilities, supporting import and export operations. Five airports serve the area, with Delta, DHL, and FedEx freight service available through Tallahassee Regional Airport.

More than 800,000 workers live within a one-hour drive of North Florida Mega Industrial Park, ensuring a steady supply of skilled workers in a region known for affordable wages. The 2,622-acre park offers sites of up to 410 acres. Producers that need large electricity loads will welcome the 115 kV transmission-level service to the park. Companies that do business with the food industry will appreciate the existing cold storage and other food distribution facilities in the immediate area, such as Target Distribution, US Cold Storage, Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie, SuperValu/Save-A-Lot, and others.
